The photos on this page are of
" Old Deerfield " cemetery, located on Old Albany Road or as it's called "Harrow's field".........this is a " town that time passed by"..............For serious Deerfield reseachers, there is a book: " Family & Landscape: Deerfield Homelots from 1671; Susan McGowan & Amelia F.Miller, Pomcumtuck Valley Memorial Association, 1996 which can be ordered through the on line Deerfield Museum Store...............this part of Deerfield, now called "OLD Deerfield" was attacked in 1704 by the French and Indians from Quebec,Canada.
--
Many of the stones are hard to read, if anyone knows about the folks, email me and I will put your info up with your email for researchers.
---------------------
There is a site for South Deerfield which is a section of Deerfield. They are posted separately to keep folks from getting confused.
