" Old Deerfield " cemetery, located on Old Albany Road or as it's called "Harrow's field".........this is a " town that time passed by"..............For serious Deerfield reseachers, there is a book: " Family & Landscape: Deerfield Homelots from 1671; Susan McGowan & Amelia F.Miller, Pomcumtuck Valley Memorial Association, 1996 which can be ordered through the on line Deerfield Museum Store...............this part of Deerfield, now called "OLD Deerfield" was attacked in 1704 by the French and Indians from Quebec,Canada.

Stockbridge was incorporated as a town, 1739. Stockbridge was called "Indian Town"........wonder if they were the praying Indians and he was connected some how.
