Cyndy  > History > Massachusetts > LUDLOW, Hampden Co.....Old Burying Ground
The early days of Ludlow was part of Springfield.....until 1774.......the old name was " Stony Hill "
The " busy" area of Ludlow is roughly 2 miles away....when the mills came in...the town grew there and the Old Ludlow Center became a quiet place. ( thank goodness )
