Cyndy > ZECHARIAH FIELD....1596 - 1666 and his wife, Mary
born in East Ardsley, Yorkshire, England. Grandson of Sir John Field, astronomer.
Immigrated to America, 1629, settling in Dorchester, Massachusetts.
In 1636 journeyed to Connecticut; founder of Hartford; removed to Northampton in 1659; served as selectman.
Joined in the founding of Hatfield as an early settler, trader, and merchant.
died survived by four sons and a daughter whose descendants eight generations later and more, dedicate this memorial.
