Women's Cross Country's Levoit Captures UAA Weekly Honor

New York University senior Danielle Levoit was tabbed as the University Athletic Association (UAA) Women's Cross Country Athlete of the Week.

Levoit earned her first victory of the season, outracing a field of 31 to capture the Wellesley College Invitational Championship on October 21. The senior from Indianapolis, IN, ran the 5,000-meter course in 19:16.6 as the Violets finished second out of three teams.

Levoit and the rest of NYU's women's team return to action Saturday, October 28, at the UAA Championship in St. Louis.
