The small red stone: Margaret Thomson (no p) who died January the 20, 1752, in the 87th year of her age.

There is a plaque near by that reads: The Thompson Family Association, in memory of William and Margaret Thompson, their 7 sons, and 2 daughters who left Scotland for America, tarr_ing for a year in the north of Ireland where William the father died. Margaret the mother and her 9 children completed the journey and settling on that part of Windsor settlement now known as Ellington in the year 1720.
