Cyndy > Capt. David Goodrich....served with Col.Whitney's Regt. during Queen Anne's War......died Jan 23, 1755, age 87.... lets see, that would make him born in 1668
Cyndy > It appears to be the same Capt. David Goodrich in the previous photo, but listed him as serving in the Indian War in the North Co., and the date of death is the same.
Cyndy > Lieut. Josiah Smith. served in 5th Co.,1st Regt. during the French and Indian War (1754-1757).....died Oct.17,1798, age 84.
Cyndy > The stone is in "layers"...and you can see where the top layer is coming off.....it wont be long when no one can read it. ------ Ebenezer Talco___who departed this life Aug.25,1795, aged 64 ----- on right-- Sarah, comfort of Ebenezer Talcott, died April 13,1801, aged 68
Cyndy > Levi Robbins, Rev. War veteran, served in Capt.Skinner"s Co. and Major Sheldon's regt died Oct.21, 1793, age 38...... must have been very young while a soldier...
Cyndy > Ichabod Wells, died May 30,1800 in his 78th year
Cyndy > Ebenezer Belding died Nov.2d, 1739...age about 72 (m-m-m makes him b.1667)
Cyndy > John Oldham was from Plymouth Colony...founded a trading post here at Wethersfield 1634. The trading post no longer exists.
