Cyndy > The First Church of Christ established 1635; this is not the orginal meeting house but on same location. The old burying ground is in the rear of this church.
Cyndy > This is the Olde Wethersfield Cemetery behind the Congregational Church.
Cyndy > Judith Wolcott, relict of Mr. Samuel Wolcott, deceased. dau of Worshipful Samuel Appleton, Esq. of Ipswich, died Feb.ye 19th,1749, about 88 years of age Ispwich is in Essex County,Mass.
Cyndy > In Memory of Michael Griswold b. 1618- d.1684 and his wife Ann. Settled at Wethersfield, 1640.
Cyndy > on left: Here lyeth the body of Sarah Steele, wife of Mr. Samuel Bordman, who departed this life, January ye 23, 1732. in the 77 year of her age -- on right: Here lyeth the body of Samuel Bordman who departed this life, December 23, 1720, in the 7_ year of his age.
Cyndy > Here lies interr'd the body of Deacon Thomas Wright, who departed this life, October ye __, A.D., 1760, in the 85th year of his age
