Cyndy > This is called the Village Tavern, built 1797 (does anyone know if the house served as a tavern or ordinary back in 1797 ?

dau of Worshipful Samuel Appleton, Esq. of Ipswich, died
Feb.ye 19th,1749, about 88 years of age

Ispwich is in Essex County,Mass.
Cyndy > In Memory of Michael Griswold b. 1618- d.1684 and his wife Ann.   Settled at Wethersfield, 1640.

Bordman, who departed this life, January ye 23, 1732.
