The brown house in the center is the SHERBURNE
HOUSE, first part 1695 and the addition in 1703. This house
belonged to my husband's maternal line--Sherburne.
The house on the left is LOWD House(1820) and the one on the right of Sherburne House is the Shapely-Drisco House(1790)
The following pictures show a time-line , changes in the house during during restoration. The land you see in front
of these 3 houses was actually what was called "Puddle Dock"
that's right , water.
